The double-bar safety valve is the key guarantee for the safe application of pressure pipes and pressure vessels. In order to ensure the normal operation of the double-bar safety valve and prolong the service life of the double-bar safety valve, the abnormal phenomena such as leakage, blockage and spring corrosion of the double-bar safety valve in operation should be checked regularly, and pay attention to whether the locking nut of the adjusting screw sleeve and adjusting ring fastening screw is loose. 
Take appropriate maintenance measures in time if problems are found. 
The double bar safety valve should also be removed regularly for comprehensive cleaning, inspection, re-grinding and setting before it can be re-used. 
The double-bar safety valve installed outdoors should take appropriate protective measures to prevent rain, fog, dust, rust and other dirt from invading the double-bar safety valve and discharge pipe, when the environment is below zero degrees Celsius, necessary anti-freezing measures should also be taken to ensure the reliability of the double-bar safety valve. 

Features of double bar safety valve: 

The structure is simple, easy to adjust, accurate, the load will not significantly increase with the rise of the disc, the action and performance will not be affected by high temperature, and the structure is relatively bulky. The heavy hammer is not commensurate with the size of the valve body, the sealing performance of the valve is more sensitive to vibration, the disc is easy to skew when returning to the seat, and the return pressure is relatively low, which must be reduced to 70% of the normal working pressure to maintain the seal. 
Heavy hammer lever safety valves are used in high temperature situations, especially in boilers and high temperature vessels. 

How to adjust the double-bar safety valve

If you want to increase the opening pressure, move the heavy hammer outward, on the contrary, if you want to lower the opening pressure, move the heavy hammer in. 
Some double bar safety valves are double hammers, that is, they can play the role of two safety valves, which are generally used in steam boilers and steam engine systems. if the double bar safety valves mostly set the opening pressure to one high and one low, first set the high pressure and then set the low pressure, if the two pressures are the same, you can hang a pipe clamp on the first adjusted heavy hammer, or press it by hand and then adjust the next one. 
Double-bar safety valve is suitable for steam, air and other medium equipment and pipes with working temperature ≤ 450 ℃ as overpressure protection device. 
When the pressure in the equipment and pipeline exceeds the allowable value, the valve automatically opens and then fully discharges; when the pressure drops to the specified value, the valve closes automatically to ensure the safe operation of the equipment and pipeline. 
When the valve outlet has sleeve type and flange type, it should be checked and confirmed.
